Trillions For Bankers, Billions For The Military, But In Philly Bloggers Must Pay $300





I am not surprised. Pennsylvania is not exactly the most progressive state in the Union. Could it be turning into a land of ignorant brownshirts? Most likely. Remember the Pittsburgh G20? I think I'll avoid the state. Next you will need a license to breath in good ole Philly. Screw the cheesesteak state. America takes another brave and oafish step towards being Columbia, or Venezuela. El Salvador on the Delaware? No that's probably too kind, to the cheesesteak state at least.

Taking a step closer to an eerie Orwellian state where creativity is crushed in the name of “the greater good,” the city of Philadelphia is demanding that bloggers pay $300 for the privilege of writing on the Internet.
This $300 “business privilege license” is for all local bloggers – even the ones that make no money off their words...
