The corporate entity, is it pathological? The answer is yes. Why? Because it drives toward profit regardless of the broader implications. You are forced by the nature of the social relations inside and among corporations in the market system to pursue, to accumulate, to pursue profits.
He could have added as well that the drive towards profit might also make you want to start wars or imprison more people, two of America's most important industries.
