Handcuffs For Free Speech in Staten Island
If you are a corporation, don't worry. The U.S. Supreme Court is protecting your freedom of speech (see the post below). If you are an individual however and use your first amendment rights, you might get arrested. Read this article in The New York TImes about individuals who wrote letters criticizing the borough president of Staten Island and wound up arrested in one case and spending the night in jail in another.
The borough president in one case was called Guy Molinari, in the other James Molinaro. They kind of look alike too.
