It is not enough for the Peace Laureate to murder American citizens without charges, without trial and without warning; he must also murder their children too -- in the same cowardly, cold-blooded fashion.

Last week, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki -- an American teenager -- was ripped to shreds by an American drone missile in Yemen. The boy, like his father, Anwar al-Awlaki -- had not been charged with any crime whatsoever, much less convicted and sentenced. So what was his offense? He missed his father -- who had been in hiding from the Peace Laureate's publicly stated intention to assassinate him -- and he went off to find him.

His search took him into one of the areas of Yemen where there are groups opposed to the murderous regime now controlling the country and slaughtering its own citizens in cold blood -- with American weapons, American money, and the full support of the Peace Laureate and his peace-loving administration of peaceful peaceniks. People in such regions -- not only in Yemen but all over the world -- are of course subject to instant, agonizing death from the Peace Laureate's brave, bold robot drones, guided by noble warriors nestled in cushioned chairs behind fortress walls thousands of miles away.

And so a button was pushed, and 16-year-old Abdulrahman -- and his 17-year-old cousin -- were turned into steaming lumps of coagulate gore by the drones of the Peace Laureate. The Laureate's minions and satraps then spread the story that the child was actually a grown man, "suspected" of being a "militant." It was, of course, an arrant and deliberate lie, but it did its work. The first -- and only -- thing the public at large heard about this murder was that yet another dirty terrorist raghead had bitten the dust, and so big fat what?

Dubai cargo plane bomb was on two passenger flights before discovery

Ok, one came first on a passenger plane. This could explain the lack of cargo planes coming from Yemen. But what about the other one? The one which apparently was NOT on a passenger plane first?

Also, what was intended, to blow up a plane? Why send the package on a multiple plane route? And if the bomb was already on several planes, why didn't they detonate it? Why address the bombs to Synagogues in Chicago? Who would be able to read an incinerated package blown up at 30,000 feet?

Also is it common that passenger planes carry cargo? Why then bother screening passenger luggage so carefully if the cargo isn't? It makes sense to offload luggage of passengers who don't show up, but what about all that cargo being sent unaccompanied?

Qatar Airways statement comes as Yemen arrests female university student on suspicion of sending two mail bombs

One of the two mail bombs found on US-bound cargo aeroplanes had travelled on two separate passenger flights before being found, a spokesman for Qatar Airways said today.

None Of This Makes Sense...

I'm feeling a little dismayed at how none of this UPS bomber stuff makes any sense at all and yet our politicians are pumping up the BS rhetoric about the War on Terror.

If the bombs were meant to blow up the airplane, why address them to synagogues?

It's a simple question without a good answer.

This reuters article makes little sense, because of that fact the pompous politcal rhetoric of an Obama or a Cameron even less.

(Reuters) - Yemeni forces on Saturday arrested a woman believed to be involved in sending explosive packages bound for the United States that triggered a global security alert, Yemeni security officials said.

The arrest was the first in the case, in which two air freight packages containing bombs -- both sent from Yemen and addressed to synagogues in Chicago -- were intercepted in Britain and Dubai...

...Britain said the device found on a cargo plane at its East Midlands airport was big enough to down an aircraft.

"We believe the device was designed to go off on the aeroplane. We cannot be sure about the timing when that was meant to take place," Prime Minister David Cameron told reporters at Chequers, his country residence outside London.

Besides that, saying that the bomb on board could have brought down the plane seems ludicrous with the little smudge of white powder seen in pictures of the bomb. This material also tested negative for explosives in the first news reports which have since changed to "Explosives found in suspicious packages packed powerful punch."

Dubious indeed.

Not to mention Yemen denies that the planes came from them.

A Yemeni official told Yemen Post that no U.S. cargo aircraft of any American company flew out of Yemen over the last 48 hours. "Whether UPS, Fed Ex, DHL or any other U.S. cargo company left Yemen over the last 48 hours."

Here's a thought for you. A runaway 23 year old on a terror watch list, traveling through several third world nations, with explosives in his underwear and reportedly trying to board as a sudanese refugee without a passport can travel to the U.S. His father however, former chairman of the FIrst Bank of Nigeria, was denied a visa to find his son in Yemen when he believed he had gone astray or 'became radicalized.'
