Al Qaeda Assassin and … Green Beret?

The Guardian points out today that U.S. military reports indicate that an Al Qaeda assassin worked for the Britain’s MI6 intelligence agency.

You decide whether this connotes hanky panky or incompetence by Western intelligence services.

As I’ve previously noted, a former Pakistani president alleged that another prominent Al Qaeda terrorist also worked for MI6.

The Congressional Joint Inquiry into 9/11 discovered that an FBI informant had hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000 and that, when the Inquiry sought to interview the informant, the FBI refused outright, and then hid him in an unknown location, and that a high-level FBI official stated these blocking maneuvers were undertaken under orders from the White House (confirmed here by the Co-Chair of the Joint Inquiry and former Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Graham; and see this Newsweek article)

One of al-Qaeda’s top trainers in terrorism and how to hijack airplanes, who was a very close associate of Bin Laden, was an American citizen who was an operative for the FBI, the CIA, and the Army, and a green beret (see this article from the San Francisco Chronicle and this article from the Globe and Mail). Indeed, while he was acting as an FBI informant, he smuggled Bin Laden in and out of Afghanistan, helped plan the attacks on US embassies in Africa, and apparently played a pivotal role in planning 9/11.

Guantánamo Bay files: Al-Qaida assassin 'worked for MI6'

Of course, they are all pawns for the intelligence agencies...get it? If you don't, I don't care anymore, I've written a zillion articles about it and after 10 years if you haven't figured out the War on Terror is a sham, you probably never will. Of course you could search this website for the Christmas Bomber, the 93 WTC bombing, Newburgh terror cell, TImes Square Bomber or David Headley...that would give you an idea, but probably better you just keep on believing in the government fairy tales, gives you that warm and cozy feeling.

An al-Qaida operative accused of bombing two Christian churches and a luxury hotel in Pakistan in 2002 was at the same time working for British intelligence, according to secret files on detainees who were shipped to the US military's Guantánamo Bay prison camp.

Adil Hadi al Jazairi Bin Hamlili, an Algerian citizen described as a "facilitator, courier, kidnapper, and assassin for al-Qaida", was detained in Pakistan in 2003 and later sent to Guantánamo Bay.

But according to Hamlili's Guantánamo "assessment" file, one of 759 individual dossiers obtained by the Guardian, US interrogators were convinced that he was simultaneously acting as an informer for British and Canadian intelligence...

UK's MI6 'blamed for bringing in Taliban imposter' for talks

Britain's external intelligence agency MI6 is said to have brought in the fake Taliban commander touted as key to resolving the conflict in Afghanistan.

According to The Telegraph, the British intelligence service is said to have spent a year nurturing and paying a man claiming to be Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour, one of the most senior commanders of the Taliban.

They are said to have paid him at least 100,000 dollars and flown him to meetings with Afghan officials in an attempt to broker a deal between the government and the insurgents.

Eventually an Afghan who knew the real Mansour revealed their mistake but the man was allowed to return to Pakistan, reports said. (ANI)

Aangirfan did an interesting investigation into the ongoing London spy murder puzzle. I like what a comment from anonymous said on the site:

I'm guessing the guy had a conscience and learnt something while at the Pentagon he shouldn't have, then mentioned this to the wrong person.

When they murder as blatantly as this without even trying to cover it up, it's a warning to others.

Gareth Williams was a UK spy "who made regular trips to the US National Security Agency."

On 23 August 2010, the police found his body in an MI6 flat near to MI6 HQ in London.

How did MI6 not notice that one of its Agents was missing ? (MI6 inquiry will ask why it took two weeks to find murdered officer )

2. Five weeks before Gareth Williams' death, Gareth Williams' 'best friend' was suddenly posted to Denver, Colorado on secret duties.

"A source claimed detectives have been ‘blocked’ from interviewing several potentially crucial witnesses.

"Mr Williams’s ‘best friend’, a female colleague at the Government’s listening post, was posted to work for an intelligence agency linked to the Pentagon in the U.S. five weeks ago.

"The 25-year-old woman and her husband, who also knew Mr Williams, both worked at GCHQ in Cheltenham and were ‘suddenly’ transferred to Denver, Colorado, on secret duties.

Murder squad detectives are keen to speak to her in case she can offer any clues to why someone would want Mr Williams dead...
